The construction of Aston Universities main building dates back to post war Britain. Opening as a technical college in the 1950’s.
The University gained it’s chartered status in 1964 with the main building housing the majority of our teaching ever since.
The 2030 strategy seeks to renovate the main building further, removing the North and South Wings and adding a new entrance.
