The Virtual Accessibility System for Transport will help reduce anxiety around travel and allow users to plan and familiarise themselves with the environment at their own pace before their arrival and in situ.   Guided videos and information hotspots provide critical information in an accessible and personable manner.

ACCESSIBILITY

ACCESSIBILITY FEATURES

We are proud to have created a number of World and industry firsts with the accessibility of our virtual tours.

For too long virtual tours have been created to increase access to venues but haven’t met the basic digital accessibility needs of WCAG 2.1 and other requirements.  Our patent pending accessibility widget and design process addresses these issues to generate the most accessible virtual environments.

But this is just the beginning.  We know there is more that can be done and our roadmap includes significant further developments to meet the needs of all users and remain at the forefront of digital accessibility.  Our latest iteration includes the full integration of sign language.

WHAT OUR CLIENTS SAY

Thanks to the Virtual Tour Company, we have been able to provide our customers with the opportunity to familiarise themselves with our stations ahead of travelling, helping to ease anxiety and build confidence in rail.

Ariane Pradel, East Midlands Railway

At Greater Anglia we wanted to create virtual tours of our busiest railway stations to help customers familiarise with their environment before travelling. At the same time, the tours needed to be accessible for everyone with disabilities, and available on any platform. I highly recommend The Virtual Tour Company to everyone interested in quality, feature-rich, and great-looking virtual tours.
