Surfers Against Sewage Digital Ocean School

In this project led by Earth Minutes, we focused on assisting with software and design to create a digital version of the Surfers Against Sewage’s ocean school program for those unable to attend in person. The focus of the program is to educate young people on marine conservation. The goal was to extend the reach of the program and inspire more people to get involved.

The numbers that make us proud

The tour has over 6,000 users, which makes a huge impact on helping protect the environment

The tour has had over 27,350 scene views since it's launch last year

Users are spending an average of 5 and a half minutes exploring the tour and learning key facts

The Brief

The clients wanted a quick and immersive way to digitally showcase the ocean school program, which includes underwater scenes. To accomplish this, we used various features to make the virtual tour more exciting, including 360 videos, fact and did-you-know hotspots, questionnaire forms, and talking heads.

What we achieved

In addition to our standard features and processes we worked with Earth Minutes and Surfers Against Sewage to implement a range of bespoke components that makes this virtual tour stand out in true form.

Interactive & Educational

A dynamic, educational showcase that brings marine conservation to life through interactive 360° underwater scenes and engaging storytelling.

Youth-Focused

Seamless accessibility integration, including a widget for all users to adjust content for their individual needs.

Varied Multimedia

High-impact multimedia, featuring multiple videos, talking heads, and enhanced panoramas optimised for sharing across platforms.
